Task 3d Evaluating the benefits of an online business
a)      Explain the benefits and impact of marketing products and services on- line. Think about/discuss the following: keeping costs down, reaching customer groups/segments what the impact on profits could be.

          b) Explain why marketing online fits in with the aims, objectives and operation of your organization. Think about/ discuss what you intend to do inform public or make money etc

Task 3- Evaluation

Task 3b) Match your current skills and abilities to two job opportunities.
  •  Find two jobs that you could do now – one could be a job advertised by a peer to work with their online business.
  • Download the person specification and job description for reference
  • You should show how you meet the person specification- You can use evidence from school, college, work and home to do this.- Refer to your personal SWOT if need be.
  • They should not be CEO type jobs as you probably do not yet have the skills and experience.

Task 3c) Make a realistic career development plan for a chosen career
  •  It could be based upon a job  from Task  3 b above
  • It can be in the form of a timeline or  a more formal written piece
  • You should start from the present and go forward for 10-15 years
  • Based upon research include the necessary time for training, university getting promotion etc.

Evaluation

Using the provided template complete a personal SWOT analysis.
This is an important chance to reflect on what you have done well in this project and what improvements could be made for future enterprises.
So be honest with yourself!
S = Strengths: What are your strengths as a potential employee? (You should provide evidence to support your claims)
Think are you any of the following: Punctual, Flexible, IT literate, a good communicator.
W = Weaknesses: What are weaknesses as a potential employee? (Again you should provide evidence to support your claims)
Examples include: Poor time management, not communicating effectively with team members, research skills.
O = Opportunities: Based on the answers above what opportunities do you think you may have.
Examples include: If you enjoyed researching products you could think about a career as a researcher or a buyer.
T = Threats: Again based on your previous answers what are the threats that you may be faced with in the workplace?
